VERTICAL PLASTIC TANKS
Vertical plastic tanks, for water, oil and chemicals, made of: high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) are made by spiral wind technology and the additional technology in manufacturing is extrusive sealing of plastic. Both materials are ecologically acceptable and have extraordinary mechanical features, above all resistance to breakage. Thanks to its excellent resistance to aggressive influence of wide specter of fluid and gases, these materials are intensively used for plastic dishes for storage not only drinkable water but alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food as well, which storage in concrete tanks is unimaginable. As usual proof of absolute regularity HDPE and PP material for storage drinkable water, with the tank attached are appropriate attests of its healthy regulations issued by specified government institutions.
On open space it is recommended to use PEHD tanks (polyethylene tanks) because this material is UV-stabilized, i.e. resistant to UV radiation. They don’t have odors nor they absorb odors of materials that is stored so they can be used for:
- Storing wide specter of chemicals
- Storing drinkable water
- Storing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Storing technical water
- Storing food supply
- Storing detergents
- Facilities for treatment of drinkable water
- Facilities for treatment of waste water.
It’s important to mention that, no matter if they are used for storage of drinkable water or disperse (powder, grain) materials, plastic tanks of PEHD are persistent at temperatures from -30oC to +60oC, and the PP tanks from -10oC to +100oC. As a consequence of simple construction of this plastic tanks, in combination with material stability – HDPE i.e. PP, is a fact that for them no special maintenance is needed during their life time, and smooth inner walls enable easy, fast and efficient cleaning.
We are able to install on any of our plastic tanks all kinds of standard and special (non-standard) connectors for connecting to all pipeline systems as well as needed armature (connects with flanges, level indicators, revision openings, climbers, rates for anxiety, handles for carrying etc). Plastic water tanks can be used instead of built concrete tanks for water supply of individual households and cottages as well as whole settlements.
Appropriate technical drawing and statistical assessments can be attached with every tank, made in regard to relevant European normative – standards, as well as attests from our plastic mass welders.

Vertical above-ground plastic tanks, possibility of building standard connectors and armature
Vertical plastic tanks of great dimensions
Company DAL d.o.o. , by customers desire, builds two special types of vertical above-ground tanks:
- Vertical plastic tank with double wall (tanks with double layer), intended for storage of dangerous chemicals
- Thermo isolated (thermally insulated) vertical plastic tanks – tanks with term isolation, intended for storage of fluids that must have constant temperature or where it cannot come to freezing or overheating of the substances that are stored.
